About Alabama Phone Directory

Phone numbers for Alabama live across a dozen different places - the state agency directory, the statewide school listing, university campus directories, 67 counties' worth of local offices, every utility company, plus the area-code references maintained by NANPA and the FCC. Why We Built This Site

Alabama publishes phone information across many separate offices. The Inform Alabama directory covers state agencies. The State Department of Education keeps its own statewide school listing. University directories expose thousands of campus numbers. County health, DHR, and EMA contacts sit in three different state directories. Public-safety lines split between 911, 988, 211, and a non-emergency number per city or county. Add the utility providers, the courts, and the FCC and NANPA references for area codes, and the picture gets crowded fast. We pull together the lookup tools, contact methods, and reference data for each of these in one place.
